Are you an experienced Fullstack Engineer looking to innovate on an impactful user-facing feature? Join our Fandom team and help shape the future of Listening Parties, a large-scale live experience that brings fans closer than ever to their favorite artists.

As part of the Fandom team, you'll design and build the systems that power the K-Pop hub, Collectibles and Listening Parties. Our mission is to use Fandom to bring more value to deepen fan engagement and drive true fans to upgrade to Premium.

We have an exciting roadmap of features ahead and we are looking for a web-focussed Fullstack Engineer to help us take ownership of Listening Parties. You'll play a key role in driving innovation in the space with a focus on K-Pop fandom.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and enhance AI-powered tools for self-service insights, such as text-to-SQL and You will architect, develop, and operate both frontend (web) and backend (APIs, microservices) systems that can scale globally, following good design and development practices
  • You will collaborate with a team of engineers, product, designers and data scientists to build end-to-end client facing experiences used by millions of users
  • You will take operational responsibility for the services that are owned by your team, including joining an on-call rotation
  • You will be a key leader in the team who can coach others and drive our ways of working in a spirit of continuous improvement
  • You will help others t-shape into web development

Who You Are

  • You have experience working across the stack, from building scalable APIs to developing intuitive, high-performing, modern frontend web applications (NextJS/React preferred)
  • You're confident building and operating backend services with Java frameworks using modern cloud environments (GCP preferred)
  • You enjoy working collaboratively on a full-stack team, using agile processes to deliver a project in incremental phases
  • You approach problem-solving methodically and pragmatically, investigating complex system issues with a positive, proactive attitude while connecting technical, product, and business perspectives to inform your solutions
  • You care about quality and you know what it means to ship high-quality code
  • You enjoy learning as well as teaching others. Our engineers are T-shaped, which means being capable of using the right technology as a tool when needed
  • You're passionate about your work, striving towards the goals of the team and, ultimately, the Spotify mission

Where You'll Be

  • This role is based in London or Stockholm.
  • We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home.
