Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues and customers. Previous experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

Duties

  • Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and communal areas to high standards
  • Empty rubbish bins and ensure waste is disposed of appropriately
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any issues or shortages
  • Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to prevent accidents or hazards
  • Assist with specialised cleaning projects as required
  • Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient workflow

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in cleaning or similar roles is desirable but not mandatory
  • Good communication skills in English to understand instructions and interact with colleagues and clients
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic driving skills are advantageous for roles requiring travel between sites
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Customer service orientation with a friendly and professional attitude
