Role Overview

The Retrofit Coordinator will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the end to end delivery of domestic retrofit projects under the PAS 2035 framework. You will act as the key compliance lead, ensuring that all retrofit activities, from assessment to design, installation, and evaluation are delivered to the highest technical and regulatory standards. Working closely with Retrofit Assessors, Designers, Installers, and Clients, you'll ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and in line with the latest standards and funding requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the PAS 2035 Retrofit Coordinator for designated projects, ensuring full compliance with all standards and documentation.
  • Manage and review the whole retrofit process including but not limited too, Retrofit Assessments, Clients, and Retrofit Designs.
  • Oversee installation stages to verify technical quality and adherence to specifications.
  • Maintain project documentation within compliance platforms (e.g. TrustMark, ECMK, etc.).
  • Liaise with stakeholders including clients, contractors, assessors, and residents to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Monitor progress against programme timelines, and quality targets.
  • Carry out post installation checks including site visits
  • Evaluate project outcomes (Retrofit Evaluation).
  • Provide technical advice and support to delivery teams regarding building fabric, ventilation, and low carbon technologies.
  • Support funding applications and evidence collation for schemes such as Warm homes, ECO etc.
  • Drive continuous improvement in quality management systems and retrofit delivery processes.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Qualified Retrofit Coordinator (Level 5 Diploma in Retrofit Coordination and Risk Management).
  • Strong working knowledge of PAS 2035 and TrustMark requirements.
  • Experience managing domestic retrofit projects
  • Understanding of building physics, energy efficiency measures, ventilation, and moisture management.
  • Excellent project coordination and communication skills.
  • Proficient in report writing, record keeping, and compliance management software, preferably PASHUB.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and customer service approach.

Desirable Skills

  • Additional qualifications such as Retrofit Assessor or Designer.
  • Knowledge of funding streams such as ECO4, Warm homes (SH/LA),
  • Experience working with local authorities, housing associations, or main contractors.
