Nursery Assistant /Practitioner Role/ After School Club

2 x Part-time roles hours

9am-5.30pm x 2/3 days

2pm -5pm x 3/4 days - After school club

Support daily care and learning for young children in a safe, nurturing environment. Assist with routines, play activities, hygiene, and emotional development. Work closely with staff and communicate professionally with parents. Be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a teamwork, and have a warm, reliable attitude.

Room Leader Role( Must have previous experience within a daycare )

As Room Leader, you'll be the heartbeat of your room—leading with warmth, creativity, and professionalism. You'll oversee daily routines, plan engaging activities, and ensure every child receives the best possible start in life.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading a team of practitioners to deliver outstanding care and learning
  • Creating fun, educational experiences tailored to each child's development
  • Ensuring safeguarding and EYFS standards are met at all times
  • Building strong relationships with families and team members
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment

What You'll Bring

  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Experience in a nursery or daycare setting in a similar role
  • Leadership skills with a nurturing approach
  • A deep understanding of child development and the EYFS framework
  • A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine love for working with children
