Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Taunton for an Activities Coordinator. The Activities Coordinator will plan, organize, and oversee engaging activities tailored to the needs and abilities of adults in our care. The role involves working closely with individuals to promote social interaction, skill development, and emotional well-being. Additional responsibilities may include coordinating schedules, motivating participation, and maintaining a safe and inclusive environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication and Training skills for interacting with individuals, families, and colleagues
  • Experience or understanding in areas such as Social Care and Mental Health care
  • Ability to develop and implement creative fundraising initiatives to support program activities
  • Empathy, patience, and organizational skills to manage diverse needs
  • Prior experience in activity planning or coordination is a plus
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in social care or similar fields are highly desirable
