Join UPS as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer – Tamworth

UPS is seeking a talented and driven Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support our package handling operations in Tamworth. This is your chance to join a global leader in logistics and make a real impact behind the scenes.

  • 4-week rotation
  • 06.00 – 14.30 Days
  • 13.30 – 22.00 Noons
  • 21.30 – 06.00 Nights

What You'll Be Doing

  • Maintain and repair a wide range of industrial equipment including conveyors, bulk carts, and power industrial systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and welding issues.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to keep operations running efficiently and safely.
  • Support building maintenance tasks including heating, ventilation, and electrical systems.
  • Work across rotating shifts (morning, evening, night) with flexibility for call-outs when needed.

What We're Looking For

  • Experienced in industrial maintenance with strong fault-finding skills on conveyor systems and motor control circuits.
  • City & Guilds Certificate in Engineering or the BTEC in Operations and Maintenance
  • Comfortable working with single and three-phase power supplies.
  • Able to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
  • Ideally qualified in electrical engineering (but we'll consider strong mechanical candidates too).
  • Familiar with basic programming, motor control theory, and network troubleshooting.
  • A team player who can also work independently and take initiative.
  • Welding experience is a plus—but not essential.
