Join UPS as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer – Tamworth

UPS is seeking a talented and driven Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support our package handling operations in Tamworth. This is your chance to join a global leader in logistics and make a real impact behind the scenes.

- 4-week rotation
- 06.00 – 14.30 Days
- 13.30 – 22.00 Noons
- 21.30 – 06.00 Nights
What You'll Be Doing
- Maintain and repair a wide range of industrial equipment including conveyors, bulk carts, and power industrial systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and welding issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance to keep operations running efficiently and safely.
- Support building maintenance tasks including heating, ventilation, and electrical systems.
- Work across rotating shifts (morning, evening, night) with flexibility for call-outs when needed.
What We're Looking For
- Experienced in industrial maintenance with strong fault-finding skills on conveyor systems and motor control circuits.
- City & Guilds Certificate in Engineering or the BTEC in Operations and Maintenance
- Comfortable working with single and three-phase power supplies.
- Able to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
- Ideally qualified in electrical engineering (but we'll consider strong mechanical candidates too).
- Familiar with basic programming, motor control theory, and network troubleshooting.
- A team player who can also work independently and take initiative.
- Welding experience is a plus—but not essential.
