We are seeking an organised, customer-focused Admissions and Curriculum Support Officer to join our dedicated team. In this varied and rewarding role, you will provide high-quality administrative and admissions support throughout the entire student journey—from initial enquiry to programme completion. You will play a key part in shaping both the student and staff experience, offering excellent customer service and ensuring smooth, efficient processes within your nominated curriculum area.

What You'll Do

  • Act as the first point of contact for applicants, students, parents, and external stakeholders, delivering friendly, professional and timely support across multiple communication channels.
  • Manage admissions processes for your allocated curriculum area, including processing applications, scheduling interviews, and supporting key events such as welcome days and enrolment.
  • Build strong working relationships with curriculum staff and develop in-depth knowledge of programme content, entry requirements, progression routes, and key academic calendar events.
  • Provide accurate administrative support, working confidently with databases and software systems to produce reports, correspondence, letters, and other documentation to a high standard.
  • Assist with core college activities throughout the year, including enrolment, funding assessments, parent evenings, progress boards, student interviews and induction events.
  • Support curriculum staff by coordinating progress boards, processing trip paperwork, and assisting with disciplinary procedures where needed.
  • Collaborate effectively with teams across the college, including Apprenticeships, Registry, Finance, Exams, Student Services, and Funding & Information.
  • Offer flexible team support, covering reception duties, answering enquiry calls, and supporting the online chat service during busy periods or staff absences.
  • Uphold and promote the College's values, including Safeguarding, Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, and Health & Safety.
  • Carry out any additional duties as required to support the smooth running of the department.
