Job Description

Are you passionate about delivering impactful change in a dynamic investment operations environment? We're looking for a collaborative and driven individual to join our Middle & Back Office Oversight team as an Initiative Delivery Manager. This role offers the opportunity to work across global teams and strategic partners, helping shape scalable, future-ready solutions that support our asset management capabilities.

What you'll be doing:

• Managing delivery of initiatives through design, build, testing and operational readiness, supporting Investment Operations teams to adopt new processes across largely outsourced global services
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders, outsourced providers and third parties to track milestones, escalate risks and issues, and facilitate workshops to agree pragmatic approaches
• Supporting capability owners in delivering against agreed priorities and escalating to business leadership when required
• Deputising for colleagues within the Initiatives team and contributing subject matter expertise to drive innovative change across IO and wider L&G teams
• Identifying and mitigating operational risks across teams and service providers, ensuring services align with internal policies and regulatory requirements
• Engaging with service recipients including Client Service, Investments and L&G Group teams to ensure solutions meet current and future business needs
• Managing relationships with strategic vendors and service providers, representing L&G in external forums and sharing market insights internally
• Driving continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance ways of working and deliver scalable, fit-for-purpose solutions

Qualifications

Who we're looking for:

• Demonstrated experience in asset management or investment operations relevant to the role
• Proven track record of delivering operating model change within operational teams
• Demonstrate knowledge in the outsourced service area covering operational service delivery knowledge and client expectations
• Industry awareness of the outsourced service area and regulations governing it
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent planning, problem-solving and organisational skills
• Investment operations experience to understand service recipient needs and expectations
• Collaborative team player with a proactive and resilient mindset
