Role Description

Akea Homes is seeking a full-time Junior Interior Designer to join our team on-site in London. In this role, you will assist in designing and executing interior design projects, preparing construction drawings, selecting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and contributing to space planning. The Junior Interior Designer will collaborate closely with the senior design team to ensure all projects meet high-quality standards and client expectations.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Space Planning, Interior Design, and FF&E selection is essential.
  • Experience in Architecture and the preparation of Construction Drawings is required.
  • Strong attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with smart home integration and energy-efficient solutions is beneficial but not required.
