About the Team

This role sits within a dynamic Strategy & Transactions group that partners with clients across the full deal lifecycle—from early-stage strategy through to execution. The team brings deep industry insight and rigorous execution to help clients unlock value through people. With over 200 practitioners, the group works collaboratively across advisory capabilities to deliver impact across the economic cycle.

What You'll Do

As a Director, you'll play a senior leadership role, helping shape and deliver people-focused deal strategies. You'll:

  • Lead large, complex projects across M&A strategy, separation, and integration.
  • Build and manage relationships with clients, particularly within the UK and European Private Equity and M&A community.
  • Guide teams to deliver high-quality, client-ready outputs.
  • Present findings to senior stakeholders and challenge thinking constructively.
  • Drive thought leadership, go-to-market initiatives, and internal leadership responsibilities.
  • Ensure risk management frameworks are adhered to across engagements.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking candidates with:

  • Significant experience in strategy consulting, Big 4, or corporate development.
  • Strong understanding of people-related value drivers in M&A across sectors.
  • Proven track record in leading mid-to-large scale projects and managing teams.
  • Experience in HR Due Diligence, VDD, and M&A Strategy (Integration/Separation).
  • Ability to originate and convert business development opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong academic background and commercial acumen.
  • Bonus: Additional language skills and financial modelling capabilities.
