Role Description: 

We're looking for a skilled Senior Backend Engineer to help drive the development of powerful backend systems that support our products and users. You'll lead backend efforts, collaborate across departments, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable software solutions.

What You'll Do:


• Analyse user requirements and contribute to backend architecture and planning.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services with Java.

• Write and maintain technical documentation.

• Ensure efficient integration and optimization of SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Collaborate with frontend developers to connect server-side and user-facing components.

• Identify, manage, and resolve technical issues and bugs.

• Contribute to designing scalable, high-quality software components.

• Work with cross-functional teams to align development with business goals.

• Support continuous improvement of software development processes.

• Stay current with backend trends and assess new technologies.

What We're Looking For:


• 3–5 years of backend development experience

• Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to implement sophisticated mathematical algorithms in backend systems

• Advanced programming skills with strong knowledge of object-oriented concepts, design patterns, SOLID principles and multi-tier architectures

• Solid understanding of modern software engineering practices (Agile, version control, unit testing, TDD)

• Experience with database integration and optimization (SQL and NoSQL)

• Strong leadership, time management, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines

• Clear communicator with both technical and non-technical audiences (English proficiency is a plus)

  • Bachelor's degree in software engineering or a related field
