We're looking for a Food Supply Coordinator to oversee product availability across Harrods' Food Halls, restaurants, and kitchens, ensuring exceptional stock flow and supply performance.
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the smooth operation of the supply process by managing invoice queries, resolving shipment issues, and processing orders efficiently. You will work closely with Supply Coordinators and Assistant Managers to ensure that supplier performance is accurately reported and that all tasks are completed within agreed service level agreements (SLAs). Your attention to detail and strong communication skills will be critical in meeting deadlines, minimizing backlogs, and maintaining high standards of service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Invoice Query Resolution - ensuring that all invoice queries are resolved accurately and within the agreed SLA, making sure any backlog is minimised and priority queries are dealt with swiftly.
- Trouble Shipment Resolution – ensuring that all trouble shipments are resolved within the agreed SLA and reporting at supplier level is provided back to the Supply Coordinators for supplier performance reporting.
- Order Processing – supporting the Food Supply Assistant Managers in raising orders, such as POs, STOs, Ocado, customer orders and seasonal buys.
- Conversions– completing the relevant daily conversions by the agreed deadline, communicating any issues/shortages with the relevant stakeholders.
Depending on your role, you may be fully on-site or have a mix of on-site and home working – this is what we refer to as 'Hybrid'. Our hybrid working policy allows colleagues to work from home for part of the week, with a minimum of three days on-site, depending on business needs.
Please see our policy on our Career Site for more information or speak to a member of our Talent Acquisition team if you have any questions regarding the requirements for this role.
About You
You are a clear and confident communicator, comfortable engaging with both internal and external stakeholders. You excel at multitasking, effectively working towards multiple KPIs across different categories. With a keen eye for detail, you take pride in monitoring, reporting, and investigating to drive continuous improvement.
You will also have:
- Good PC literacy (word, excel and preferably SAP)
- Strong customer service focus when dealing with both internal and external parties.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent time-management skills and the ability and willingness to multi-task.
- Flexibility and readiness to adapt to changing priorities.
- Good attention to detail which will be evident through paperwork completed, organisation of department and sufficient stock levels.
- Strong work ethic and unwavering commitment to Harrods values.
- Ability to perform duties effectively with minimum supervision and guidance.
