Wiltshire College & University Centre have a great opportunity for a Casual Minibus Driver to join our team.

Location: Cross College/Lackham

Salary: £13.27 per hour (Professional Services Grade 5)

Job Type: Casual (approx. 6 hours per week)

Minibus Driver – The Role:

Wiltshire College & University Centre is seeking a reliable and friendly Minibus Driver to support our students and staff with safe, efficient transport for trips, excursions, and college activities.

You will play a key role in enhancing the student experience by ensuring journeys are comfortable, punctual, and compliant with safety standards.

Minibus Driver - Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate college minibuses for local and regional trips, events, and excursions.
• Carry out routine vehicle checks and ensure the minibus is clean, roadworthy, and well presented.
• Support staff with loading/unloading equipment and supervising students as required.
• Maintain accurate mileage and journey records.
• Adhere to all relevant road safety and safeguarding regulations.

Minibus Driver – You:

We are looking for someone that holds:

• A current full UK driving licence with Cat D1 entitlement and no more than 6 current points.
• Recent experience of minibus driving.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build good relationships with students and staff.
• Willingness to undergo First Aid training.
