The role
Carlisle Support Services is looking for enthusiastic , reliable, and dedicated individuals to join our team, working with our prestigious client, Burnley FC . If this sounds like you, and you're willing to learn new skills to develop your career, we promise to provide full training and all the support you'll need to help you to succeed . Join us as Burnley FC rejoin the Premier League, with big names sure to visit Turf Moor.
Location: Turf Moor- Home of Burnley FC (BB10 4BX) with opportunities to cover shifts at Headingly(Leeds), Accu Stadium (Huddersfield), Old Trafford (Manchester), Manchester Central Convention Centre (Manchester).
Pay: £14 per hour
Hours: Working on a casual basis on match/event days you have the ability to be flexible around your current commitments.
Please be aware that this is not a full time role, colleagues have the flexibility to choose and book their own shifts for home games or Ad-hoc events at the stadium
Football and events take place evenings and weekends only.
Your core role will be to ensure the safety and security of everyone in Turf Moor this could include, but not limited to;
- Provide general guidance to the public
- Conducting person and bag searching
- Supporting the stadium to adhere to its licensing conditions and safety certificate
- Directing spectators and monitoring crowds
- Responding to security or crowd management issues
- SIA Door Supervision licence- Required
- 5 years checkable work and address history
- Reliable, punctual, flexible, and smart in appearance
- Friendly, approachable, and always professional
- Enthusiastic and motivated to do a great job
- Ideally some experience an events environment or a customer care role
- Able to interact with clients and customers in a positive manner
- Level 2 certificate in Spectator Safety, or willingness to obtain the qualification (This will be a requirement if hired, but we will fund this for you)
- Willing to work at other Carlisle Events venues across the region (desirable)
