About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) Engineer to join our growing renewable energy installation team, operating across the SY postcode region.
You'll be responsible for the installation and commissioning of domestic ASHP systems to a high standard of quality and compliance. This is a self-employed role paid on a schedule of rates basis, with realistic weekly earnings in the region of £2,000+ for skilled engineers delivering consistent work.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and commission ASHP systems (e.g., Mitsubishi, Samsung, Vaillant, etc.) in domestic properties
- Carry out pre-installation checks and ensure all systems meet MCS and manufacturer standards
- Liaise with customers and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery
- Complete all required documentation and handover reports accurately
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety, and professionalism on site
Requirements
- Proven experience installing and commissioning ASHP systems
- Full UK driving licence and own van with tools
- Public liability insurance
