Job Summary

Due to restructuring of the nursery and an increase in numbers we are seeking passionate and dedicated Qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioners to join our team. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in nurturing and developing the early learning experiences of children aged 0-5 years. These positions requires a strong commitment to fostering a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment that promotes the holistic development of young children. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will be responsible for implementing activities that encourage exploration, creativity, and social interaction.

Duties

  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, emotional, and physical development.
  • Create a safe and welcoming environment for children to explore and learn.
  • Support Children's daily routines, ensuring that all children receive appropriate care and attention.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and support children's learning.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records using Tapestry.
  • Collaborate with other staff to enhance the overall quality of care and Early Years Education .
  • Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in early childhood education.
  • Drive initiatives that promote inclusivity and diversity within the nursery setting.

Requirements

  • Relevant qualifications in Early Years are essential.
  • Experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
  • Knowledge of early years frameworks and best practices in childcare.
