Job Overview:

As a Trainee Block Property Manager at Uniq Block Management Ltd, you will gain hands-on experience in managing a diverse portfolio of properties. You will work closely with experienced professionals to learn the ins and outs of block management, tenant relations, and property maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assistance in Property Management:

  2. Support the management team in the daily operations of residential and commercial properties.

  3. Assist in coordinating maintenance requests and ensuring timely resolutions.

  4. Tenant Relations:

  5. Address tenant inquiries and concerns with professionalism and efficiency.

  6. Facilitate effective communication between tenants and management to enhance tenant satisfaction.

  7. Financial Administration:

  8. Aid in the preparation of budgets and financial reports for property management.

  9. Assist in the collection and processing of rent and other financial transactions.

  10. Property Inspections:

  11. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintenance standards.

  12. Document findings and report any issues to the senior property manager.

  13. Administrative Support:

  14. Maintain accurate and organized records related to tenants, properties, and maintenance activities.

  15. Provide administrative support to senior management as required.

  16. Learning and Development:

  17. Engage in training programs to build knowledge of property management practices and laws.

  18. Shadow senior staff to learn effective management strategies and techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

  • A degree in property management, business administration, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Experience:

  • Previous experience in customer service or administration is beneficial.

  • A genuine interest in property management and property is essential.

  • Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organisational and time management capabilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Familiarity with property management software is advantageous.

  • Personal Attributes:

  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

  • High level of integrity and a commitment to professionalism.
