We are looking for a Pre-Sales Solutions Architect who blends technical expertise with a strong, charismatic presence in front of customers.
The hiring company delivers a modern archiving platform that empowers organizations to address complex data governance and compliance challenges while leveraging AI and analytics. By transforming data into a trusted, accurate, and protected strategic asset, they help organizations achieve their business objectives and drive innovation.
This role will be pivotal in supporting their sales organization, bridging the gap between technical functionality and customer needs. You'll partner closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to deliver tailored solutions that solve complex data analysis and archiving challenges.
Collaboration only available through Employment Contract.
LOCATION
Hybrid remote in London (or closely outside of London) - 2 days/week in the office.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Be an expert in big data analytics to excite customers about the company's product. You will become a trusted advisor on multiple issues of architecture, design, and implementation to lead to the successful adoption of their core platform;
- Author reference architectures, how-tos and demo scenarios to support customers. Lead workshops to help build the company's community;
- Lead technical demonstrations and presentations that align to customer needs and business goals;
- Develop customer relationships and build internal partnerships with account executives and teams.
- Experience with ETL tools such as Azure Data Factory and processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading;
- Must have experience with structured data management and migrations;
- Involvement in application retirement projects, including data migration and decommissioning activities;
- Experience with data transformation techniques to support system migrations and data integration efforts;
- Preferably a background in Analytics / Data Science or Data Engineering;
- Proven pre-sales experience or equivalent customer-facing technical role (e.g., Solutions Engineer, Systems Architect, etc.);
- Hands-on expertise with complex proofs-of-concept and public cloud platforms (Azure is a plus);
- Experienced in use case discovery, scoping, and delivering complex solution architecture designs to multiple audiences requiring an ability to context switch in levels of technical depth;
- Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle EBS;
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 30%, including internationally as needed.
