Purpose of Role
We are working with one of the UK's leading compliance and electrical testing specialists to recruit a Mobile Electrical Tester. This role offers an opportunity to work with customers drawn from every sector, public and private, and include HM Prison Service, Cancer Research UK, Dixons Carphone, McDonalds, Siemens, Zurich Insurance, and the Scottish Police Authority
Job Description
You would have responsibilities for conducting Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs), performing PPM tasks, and carrying out small installations with a strong customer focus.
Responsibilities
You will ensure compliance with safety regulations by completing method statements, risk assessments, and point-of-work assessments. You will maintain accurate records using mobile devices, liaise with clients to minimise disruption, and work flexibly across shift patterns and travel as required. Additionally, you will attend team meetings to review performance and compliance updates. The successful candidate will have proven electrical testing experience and be happy to work unsociable hours (weekend & overnight) paid at higher overtime rates.
Essential Qualifications/Skills
- Previous experience in a similar electrical testing role using
- Previously worked a mobile basis
- Ability to work flexibly, including shift patterns and travel
- 18th Edition & NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation/Maintenance or Time-Served
- 2391 Testing & Inspection (ESSENTIAL)
- Full UK Driving Licence (no more than 6 points)
