About the Role
We are seeking an experienced
Oracle Cloud Finance Functional Consultant
with a strong background in
Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A)
to support our finance transformation and integration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in
company creation, configuration, and financial setup activities
within Oracle Cloud ERP, with a focus on enabling smooth transitions and integrations following acquisitions or divestitures.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the
creation of new legal entities and business units
within Oracle Cloud Finance. - Configure and optimize
Oracle Financial modules
(GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, etc.) to align with new or merged entities. - Work closely with finance and technical teams to
integrate new acquisitions
into existing Oracle Cloud environments. - Provide
functional expertise
on accounting structures, intercompany transactions, and consolidation processes. - Support
data migration activities
related to new company setups, ensuring financial integrity and compliance. - Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define scope, timelines, and deliverables for M&A-related Oracle initiatives.
- Perform
impact assessments, solution design, testing, and deployment
activities for entity creation and configuration. - Assist in developing and maintaining documentation, training materials, and standard operating procedures for new setups.
Required Skills and Experience
- 5+ years
of experience as an Oracle Cloud Finance Functional Consultant (Oracle Fusion Financials). - Strong understanding of
Oracle Financials modules
— particularly General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management. - Proven experience in Mergers & Acquisitions projects
, including the setup and integration of newly acquired companies. - Experience with
entity creation, chart of accounts configuration, accounting rules, and reporting hierarchies
. - Exposure to
data migration
and reconciliation activities. - Excellent understanding of
financial processes, accounting principles, and compliance frameworks
. - Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Ability to operate independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
Desirable Qualifications
- Oracle Cloud Certification (Financials or ERP Implementation Specialist).
- Experience working within
global, multi-entity organizations
. - Exposure to
integration tools or middleware
(e.g., Oracle Integration Cloud). - Background in
finance transformation or ERP implementation programs
.
