Looking for some seasonal chef work this winter?

We're Quarter - an independent group of 4 unique restaurants in Clifton, Bristol. are looking for confident, skilled and fun Chefs to join our teams on a temporary basis this winter. Contracts will start from approx. 17th November and will run up run until, approx. 22nd December, but we are also open to considering those who can work up to around 14th-20th December (rest assured, no work on Christmas day).

We have both Commis Chef and Chef de Partie opportunities available (part time and full time options) - so junior chefs up to more experienced chefs are welcome to apply. 

Key information for our Temporary Seasonal Chef positions:
  • Based at either The Square, Racks Bar & Kitchen or  No.4 Clifton Village
  • Flexible contracts from part time and full time options available
  • Part time options include 20-25 hours per week or 30+ hours per week
  • Full time options range from 45 to 48 hours per week
  • Hourly rates range from £12.30 per hour up to £12.80 per hour, depending on the level (commis to CDP roles available)
  • Weekly rotas to include daytime, evening and weekend work
  • Free meals on duty
What will you be doing as Seasonal Chef?
  • Working in busy but friendly and supportive kitchen teams, preparing and cooking our delicious Christmas dining menus (all prepped from fresh, high quality and locally sourced ingredients)
  • Ensuring the kitchen is kept clean and tidy during your shift
  • Acting as a good team player as part of a friendly, fun team​
Who are we looking for in our Seasonal Chefs?

To succeed in these roles, you'll be...

  • Friendly, confident and a great team player
  • Someone who loves to cook and is excited to provide our customers with excellent food
  • Able to hit the ground running and work at pace, maintaining high standards in all aspects of your role
  • Equipped with great cheffing skills at either Commis Chef or Chef de Partie level, with a passion for food and the right attitude

Ideally, you'll have some experience within a similar busy kitchen environment - whether that's at Commis Chef or Chef de Partie level.
