Graduate Learning Support Assistant – Havering – September 2025

This is a primary school in the Havering area rated Good by Ofsted, committed to a caring, inclusive and high-aspiring education for every child. Graduate Learning Support Assistant – What the Role Involves

  • Assisting with classroom management to maintain focus, engagement, and safe learning environments

  • Working alongside the school's SEN provision in mainstream or resource provision settings, possibly 1:1 or small group support

Graduate Learning Support Assistant – What the School is Looking For

We are seeking proactive, compassionate and committed individuals with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn. Previous child-centred experience is valuable. You should hold a 2:1 or First-Class degree from a top 30 UK university.

Graduate Learning Support Assistant – Salary and Contract Info

  • £444 per week, pro rata; term-time only (General TA / SEN TA roles)

  • Contract: Full-time, long-term (September–July), term-time only

  • Potential for future teacher training or extended contracts following a successful placement
