Working Hours: 2pm – 10pm

Pay Rate: £12.45

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production Operative to join our Low-Risk Department.

As a Production Operative, you will play a leading part within the production team to help achieve the daily production plan whilst adhering to processes and procedures. Within this role you will be factory based directly handling raw meat products.

You will:

  • Ensure the achievement of the daily production plan and communicate any issues with the relevant person in a timely manner

  • Comply with all processes and procedures set out by the production management teams and other key areas ensuring food safety, hygiene and quality standards are achieved at all times.

  • Keep your workstation clean, tidy and free from debris to reduce the risk of accidents and comply with food safety and hygiene regulations

  • Complete any other tasks required within production as requested by management

*Please note that this role may require heavy lifting and the factory is a chilled environment*

Essential

We're looking for a proactive team player, with strong attention to detail and key time management skills. Whilst we are not looking for direct experience, our ideal candidate will have a willingness to learn, be a strong communicator and the flexibilityto adapt to new challenges.

Desirable

Whilst full training will be provided, a sound knowledge of basic food safety would be advantageous.
