This is an office-based position.
Responsibilities
- Code Development: Write, test, and debug basic software code according to task specifications.
- Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to learn best practices and improve code quality.
- Documentation: Responsible for creating supporting documentation associated with assigned tasks.
- Internal Collaboration: Work in teams, communicate effectively with peers and management.
- Learning: Engage in ongoing professional development to improve technical skills and stay updated with
latest technology trends. - All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Technical Competencies
- Programming Languages: Basic proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., C#, .NET,
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XSLT) and devOps practices. Familiarity with software development lifecycle. - Version Control: Understand and familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), IDEs and basic
knowledge of web application security principles. - Testing: Knowledge of basic testing methods, unit testing, and tools.
- Debugging: Ability to debug code using browser developer tools (for front-end) or using breakpoints and
logging in back-end code. Ability to identify and resolve simple software issues. - Basic foundational knowledge and skills related to the role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in teams, communicate effectively with peers, seniors and management.
- Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies and tools, as well as staying updated with the latest
trends.
