· Maintain accurate, professional records of interventions and progress.
· Communicate effectively with parents, schools, and multidisciplinary professionals to support holistic care.
· Demonstrate creativity, flexibility, and problem-solving skills to adapt interventions to meet the unique needs of each child.
· Work with clients referred through case management, local authority, and private funding streams.
Additional Clinical Responsibilities
· Undertake any other duties deemed appropriate by peers, team leaders, or management to support service delivery and client outcomes.
Professional Development
At LOTS, we place a strong emphasis on professional growth and reflective practice. You will be supported to continuously develop your skills and career through:
· Regular clinical supervision and peer support.
· Access to a structured appraisal process and personalised development goals.
· Opportunities to attend training and continuing professional development (CPD) relevant to your role.
· Dedicated CPD time available upon request.
· Engagement in reflective practice to enhance professional competence.
· Access to a LOTS skills passport to evidence expertise, skills and development within the role.
Professional and Organisational Expectations
· Maintain Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT) membership and adhere to all relevant professional and organisational standards.
· Communicate effectively with clients, families, and professionals using a range of communication methods.
· Demonstrate strong organisational and time management skills while managing your own workload.
· Be flexible and responsive to the changing needs of clients and the service.
· Comply with all mandatory training and contribute to ongoing service development initiatives.
Why join us at Liverpool Occupational Therapy Services (LOTS)?
· Excellent supervision and mentorship structure for new and existing team members.
· Annual appraisal and professional development planning.
· Access to a range of company benefits, including Simply Heath and the option for additional unpaid annual leave.
· A friendly, ambitious, and supportive multidisciplinary team with a wide range of expertise.
· Team-wide in-service training days and opportunities for personal and professional growth.
· Allocated CPD time and peer learning opportunities.
