Due to exciting growth, Sculpted by Aimee are seeking the key hire of Senior Designer with world-class motion skills to join our Creative Team. This role, reporting to the Head of Content, will be pivotal in shaping our brand's visual identity across all touchpoints and channels, including digital, paid media, e-commerce, CRM, in-store and campaign guidelines. 
 
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in conceptualising and creating visually engaging assets that resonate with our target audience and work across our wide-ranging digital channels as well as our more traditional brand channel, including POS.
 
You will be responsible for producing high-quality motion graphics for paid media, YouTube and social channels, as well as supporting on a wide range of projects from printed marketing materials to campaign toolkits, digital platforms and OOH artwork. This role requires a water-tight understanding of design principles, excellent motion and technical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Accountabilities Include

Campaigns:
  • Work alongside the Head of Content and Marketing leads to bring campaign concepts to life across all touchpoints, developing the graphic look and feel and full 360 creative toolkits to ensure cohesive and consistent campaign roll-out
  • Build strong, visually coherent brand narratives that connect campaign storytelling with BAU content
  • Elevate visual communication across all formats, ensuring every campaign expresses the brand world with clarity, consistency and premium aesthetic quality
     
Motion Graphic Design:
  • Create compelling motion graphics for paid, organic and retail channels, delivering engaging and high-performing content that drives brand awareness, engagement and conversion
  • Apply strong foundational understanding of motion design, including timing, typography in motion, composition, transitions and animation principles
  • Contribute to film editing, where needed, and has an eye for overall post-production quality, ensuring visual cohesion between motion assets and campaign static design
Graphic Design:
  • Produce high-quality static visuals across campaign and BAU, aligned with brand identity and guidelines, across all touchpoints from digital to VM as well as marketing materials
  • Uphold and apply graphic design fundamentals: layout, typography, spacing, colour theory, hierarchy, and visual balance
  • Collaborate closely and oversee the work of the graphic designers to implement cohesive designs across different platforms, ensuring you are happy with the output of the design team before it comes to Head of Content and Marketing Director for feedback 
  • Ensure all file setup, naming conventions, folders, exports and formats follow best practice, including an understand of RGB vs CMYK, die-lines and asset optimisation
Channel-Specific Design
  • Tailor designs for specific channels, including paid media campaigns and e-commerce platforms, to optimise visual impact and effectiveness
  • Knowledge and experience of print buying including choosing appropriate paper stocks and finishes, as well as artwork preparation
  • Experience of producing in-store artwork, including FSDUs and shelf-strips  
Brand Consistency
  • Collaborate with the Head of Content and Brand Marketing Team to update the brand guidelines, including design systems, templates and toolkits, and subsequently ensure adherence to brand guidelines and consistency in visual identity across all channels
Team Management:
  • Manage and mentor two graphic designers, fostering a collaborative and creative team environment. Consistently feedback on their work to help them grow and improve their skill set 
  • Lead by example in design excellence, attention to detail and professional communication
Collaboration:
  • Work closely with Aimee and cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and e-commerce, to understand design needs and deliver effective creative solutions
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure briefs are fully understood and deadlines are met 
  • Work closely with the copywriter and brand team to elevate creative outputs and showcase the brand in an elevated, refined way
  • Brainstorm and plan with the copywriter, marketing team, product team and other internal stakeholders, providing creative input and advice across the board
Project Management:
  • Partner with Creative Production Manager to oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and the quality of deliverables meets the highest standards
  • Help to support the two designers to empower them to better manage their workload

Experience Needed
  • A bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a Senior Graphic Designer with a robust portfolio showcasing both static and motion design work.
  • People Leadership - You will be working closely with a graphic designer and digital designer, and as such will also need to help support and coach the team, sharing your skills and providing feedback to improve the output of creative across the board. You will also be working closely with the Head of Content to improve processes, communication and ways of working with the wider business. 
  • Proficient in industry-standard design software (Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, Figma etc.).
  • Strong understanding of current design trends and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with an "eagle eye" for alignment, spacing, colour accuracy and consistency.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
