We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive
Financial Crime Operations Officer
to join our team and play a key role in safeguarding our organisation from financial crime risks. If you're passionate about doing the right thing, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to make a real impact, we'd love to hear from you.

*What you'll be doing*
As part of our first line of defence, you'll be responsible for:

  • Investigating unusual activity reports and escalating concerns to the Group's Nominated Officer where appropriate.
  • Responding to data requests from law enforcement and other third parties.
  • Conducting customer due diligence and ongoing monitoring for higher-risk customers.
  • Reviewing transactions and identifying indicators of suspicious activity.
  • Supporting business areas in understanding their financial crime responsibilities.
  • Designing and delivering tailored financial crime awareness training.

You'll also contribute to continuous improvement and help ensure our policies and practices align with regulatory expectations.

*What you'll bring
We're Looking For Someone Who*

  • Has experience working in a financial crime function, ideally within financial services.
  • Understands the UK's financial crime legal and regulatory framework.
  • Has hands-on experience with customer screening, transaction monitoring, and SARs.
  • Is a logical thinker with strong attention to detail.
  • Communicates clearly and confidently, both in writing and verbally.
  • Can work independently and manage their own workload effectively.

Bonus points
if you hold an industry-recognised financial crime qualification—but it's not essential.
