A Bit About the Role:
What does the
Delegate Acquisition Manager
'do'? You're a people person and a community builder who's also data-led, driven and results-oriented. You're a healthcare expert and are comfortable promoting HLTH to key, must-have organisations and individuals.
This role is all about getting people to come to HLTH Europe across key sectors, segments and geographies – in the right volumes, and with the right quality. You'll focus on audience acquisition execution, working cross-functionally and proactively updating the whole team on performance.
Your key KPI: the right people, in the right volumes, from the right segments and regions. Delegate revenue. This is a target-driven role.
A day in your life:
outreach to prospective attendees (paid tickets, core buyers, investors and other target groups) via LinkedIn and other tools, email and phone where appropriate.
Your key tools:
partners (including partner programming), ambassadors, marketing copy/flows, external events and social media (LinkedIn).
Primary Responsibilities:
Audience Acquisition (90%)
- Acquire high-quality attendees across key audience groups as outlined in targets and golden ticket lists. Conduct one-to-one outreach, personally, to ensure the best names book on.
- Work closely with marketing to write copy and share key points from the ICPs that marketing can use in personalised, targeted messaging to designated audience segments.
- Work with tech/product/marketing to ensure we see performance against targets, week on week, and vs this time last year (where possible).
- Maintain the audience acquisition plan covering key stakeholder groups (priority groups are providers, payers, government, investors, startups) and priority countries. Review and adjust each quarter as necessary to achieve goals.
- Monitor performance vs targets and adjust tactics accordingly.
- Deliver regular reports and insights to internal stakeholders and partners
- Hit and exceed these goals
Partners, Ambassadors & Advocates (10%)
- Support the delivery of the HLTH Europe ambassador programme across segments and countries. This may be one programme, or multiple per specific target audiences.
- Provide advocates with toolkits, incentives and rewards to drive delegate referrals.
- Identify and activate 'power nodes' - individuals who influence their networks. Work creatively with them to bring their audiences.
- Own and operate the partner programming schedule, including writing a partner's strategy that outlines the must-have partners, targets and routes to get them. Work closely with marketing, content and strategy teams to ensure they are secured as partners.
A Bit about You:
- You have 2+ years' experience in audience growth, delegate acquisition, community building or strategic marketing (ideally in events, media, or healthcare)
- You have proven success in bringing high-quality audiences to high-value experiences
- You possess a strong understanding of the European healthcare landscape and key stakeholder groups, or a route to up-knowledge yourself very fast
- Comfortable working with CRM systems and data-driven marketing tools (Salesforce, Hubspot, etc.)
- You are an outstanding relationship builder and confident communicator
- Self-starter, entrepreneurial, and thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven team
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Able to travel as needed across Europe for partner and audience development
Technology Stack:
- CRM: Salesforce
- Workspace: Google (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides), Notion
- Events: MapYourShow, Swoogo, Swapcard, DocuSign, Helpscout
- Internal Comms/Project Management: Asana, Slack
- Marketing: Hubspot, WordPress, Storyblok
Salary & Benefits:
On top of an amazing culture, we have a benefits package that includes:
- Competitive compensation and benefits package
- Apple laptop provided to all employees
- Paid time off & holiday schedule
Join us at HLTH, where we're more than a company - we're a community shaping the future of health. Be a part of our mission to empower innovation, collaboration, and change in the global healthcare ecosystem.
