We are committed to giving children the best possible learning experiences, and with this in mind, we are looking to add another Teaching Assistant to our team.

You will need to:

  • be positive and motivated
  • be adaptable and show initiative where needed
  • share the school's vision and ethos
  • have high expectations of both behaviour and pupil outcomes
  • have a strong subject knowledge with relation to the primary curriculum, in particular, Maths and English
  • have GCSE English and Maths at grade C/level 4 or above (or equivalent).

Desirable but not essential:

  • the ability to work in a team
  • has experience of working with children in a primary school
  • the ability to take the initiative and adapt work to the child or situation
  • the ability to work both in the classroom and out of the classroom
  • an understanding that children's behaviour is a form of communication and that unacceptable behaviour has a root cause.
