Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a Blackburn with Darwen taxi drivers license badge, with the ability to operate an automatic vehicle (included if needed @ rental rates). This role requires excellent communication skills and a commitment to safety and efficiency in all driving tasks.

Duties

Collecting holiday and business clients, taking and returning to and from UK Airports, mostly MAN, JLA & LBIA

  • Maintain logs of your journeys given.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatcher and clients
  • Assist with loading and unloading luggage as necessary.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
  • Provide excellent customer service during transfers, representing the company positively at all times.
  • Perform periodic checks on the vehicle to ensure it is always road worthy.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a taxi/airport driver or in a similar role is preferred.
  • A valid Blackburn with Darwen taxi licensing is badge required.
  • Smartphone usage essential.
  • The ability to follow instruction and be available on your mobile phone as and when needed.
  • Possible regular school contract available.
  • Excellent communication skills, are essential for effective interaction with clients, a smart casual appearance, and pride in keeping yourself and the vehicle clean and tidy at all times.
