Trainee Test Technician Jobs in North England at Stannah - Join Our Team
We're looking for a Testing & Technical Support Trainee to join our Major Projects Delivery Team. You will work alongside experienced testers to support the testing, commissioning, and maintenance of lift installations across a variety of environments.
You must have at at least a NVQ level 3 in Lifts .

This role offers hands-on training in technical support, site safety, and quality assurance to build your expertise within Stannah's specialist lift engineering division.
Trainee Test Technician Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with site safety management and health monitoring
- Support testing, inspection, and commissioning of lifts to industry standards
- Diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and provide technical reports
- Ensure all activities comply with Stannah's safety and quality procedures
- Collaborate with colleagues, customers, and suppliers to deliver outstanding service
Trainee Test Technician Requirements:
- Qualified NVQ3 Lift Engineer (essential)
- Strong knowledge of British Standards EN81/EN115 and lift testing procedures
- Safety-conscious, motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Willing to work away from home when required
- Competent with Microsoft Office and good communication skills
