Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support individuals in care homes and home care settings, providing essential assistance with daily activities and promoting well-being. The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, be proficient in IT, and have a genuine desire to make a positive difference in people's lives. A valid driving licence is required to facilitate mobility between care locations. This position is paid and suitable for individuals committed to delivering high-quality care.
About the Role
As a Care Professional, you will provide high-quality domiciliary care to clients in their own homes. You will play an important role in improving their wellbeing, independence, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care (washing, dressing, grooming)
- Support with safe mobility and moving & handling
- Assist with medication (following training and company policy)
- Prepare meals and promote good nutrition and hydration
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Carry out light household tasks
- Maintain accurate visit notes and report any concerns
- Travel between clients' homes in the Radlett area
What We're Looking For
- A warm, caring, and patient personality
- Reliability and a genuine desire to help others
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Willingness to learn (full training provided)
- Ability to travel between clients (drivers preferred)
Desirable but Not Required
- Previous experience in care
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care
- UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
