We are hiring a Senior Product Manager to help build on our already established Product team
The Senior Product Researcher plays a key role in driving the research that informs and shapes Instem's product vision and strategy through evidence-based insights. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on research execution, regularly engaging with customers and industry partners to uncover insights that guide product decisions, support innovation, and drive business impact across the pre-clinical R&D space.
What to expect?
- Plan and deliver research initiatives that align with company and product goals, embedding research throughout the product lifecycle
- Identify critical research opportunities to address user needs, market trends, and customer pain points
- Integrate research findings with internal data sources to create compelling narratives that inform strategic decisions
- Apply and adapt frameworks and methodologies for effective user research, ensuring high-quality, reliable, and timely insights
- Synthesize complex research findings into clear, actionable insights that inform product direction, innovation, and growth
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure research findings are effectively communicated and influence product development decisions
- Use and expand our Research Operations Framework to track, measure, and communicate the impact of research on business and product outcomes
- Stay current with emerging research methodologies, tools, and technologies
- Contribute to building a culture of research-driven decision-making across the organisation by sharing insights, frameworks, and best practices
- Adhere to Instem's Quality Management System to ensure all work is handled securely, professionally, and diligently
Skills You'll Need
- Significant experience in B2B product or user research, ideally in the Life Sciences or related discipline with transferable skills
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate research into business and product strategy
- Expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methods (in-person and online), including workshop design and facilitation, user journey creation, interview & survey techniques, and data analytics
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills with the ability to present complex data to diverse audiences
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent research projects
- Familiarity with agile product development processes
