The Position: We're looking for a Lecturer in Computing (Wigston)

What skills are we looking for:

• Excellent communication skills with students, staff and stakeholders.
• Well organised and able to manage time effectively
• Strong knowledge in IT & Computing – Hardware, Software, Networking and Cyber Security.
• Able to develop innovative and engaging resources for delivery of high-quality lessons
• A completer – you need to be able to get the job done, on time and in budget
• Good teamworking skills with the ability to work on your own initiative.

Responsibilities for the role:

• Deliver engaging and inclusive lectures, labs, and tutorials.
• Develop and update course materials to reflect current industry trends.
• Supervise student projects and provide academic guidance.
• Carry out CPD activities to stay up to date with current trends in technologies
• Contribute to departmental planning and quality assurance processes.
