Norton Fluid Power: well-established for over 50 years, is a fluid power company in Birmingham, who are looking to expand their existing team, and have a fantastic opportunity for a picker/packer based in the warehouse (Start date 05/01/2026)

Must have the ability to work independently but also in a team, a good level of English & Mathematics skill & experience in a fast-paced environment.

Warehouse Responsibilities:

  • Accurate picking of goods to a pick instruction/works order.
  • Checking quality of picked goods & ensuring packaging is up to standard for delivery
  • Work with colleagues to assist in the efficient, safe and accurate handling of component and goods stock
  • Identify & raise any stock/quality issues to production manager

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently & meet deadlines – follow verbal/written instructions
  • Comfortable performing repetitive tasks
  • Organisational skills
  • Reliable, with good attendance and timekeeping standards.
  • Flexible, keen to learn, and approaches problem solving with positive attitude. Hands on approach & attention to detail

Benefits:

Salary: Based on experience & qualifications

Hours: 7:00am – 4:00pm Monday to Thursday | 7:00am – 3:30pm Friday | 1 in every 3 Saturday 8:00am-12:00pm paid at Overtime rate

Breaks: 1 Hour Lunch Break

3 month probation period - Once complete: access to health insurance (Bupa Cash Plan), company pension scheme

Holidays: 20 days plus 8 bank holidays

Parking: On site car park
