We are seeking a reliable and efficient Courier Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of packages and documents to various locations. This role requires excellent driving skills, the ability to communicate effectively with clients, and a commitment to providing outstanding service. The Courier Driver will operate a van or similar vehicle, ensuring that all deliveries are completed efficiently while adhering to safety regulations.

Duties

Drive a van or commercial vehicle to deliver packages and documents to designated locations.

Perform heavy lifting as required when loading and unloading deliveries.

Ensure that all items are securely packaged and transported safely.

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including times, locations, and recipient signatures.

Communicate effectively with clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.

Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.

Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including sorting and organising packages for delivery.

Conduct routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.

Qualifications

UK/EU Valid driving licence with a clean driving record.

Experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.

Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 30 kg) safely and efficiently.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Familiarity with local roads and navigation systems.

Previous experience in commercial driving or warehouse operations is advantageous.

A professional attitude towards customer service and teamwork.
