Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our vibrant hospitality environment. Responsibilities

  • Supervise front of house staff, including serving, hosting, and supporting team members to deliver outstanding customer experiences
  • Oversee food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards
  • Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and optimise table turnover to maximise efficiency
  • Assist with food production when necessary, ensuring quality and presentation meet company standards
  • Lead by example in delivering excellent hospitality, including handling customer enquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff regarding orders, special requests, and service timing
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area in compliance with health regulations
  • Train new team members on service procedures, safety protocols, and company policies
  • Monitor stock levels of service supplies and report needs for replenishment

Skills

  • Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
  • Strong team management abilities with leadership qualities that motivate staff
  • Extensive restaurant experience, including food preparation, cooking, serving, and food safety knowledge
  • Familiarity with food production processes and kitchen operations
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy periods
  • Exceptional communication skills to liaise confidently with team members and customers
  • Knowledge of hospitality standards, including barista experience or hotel experience is advantageous
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanour under pressure and resolve customer concerns diplomatically

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.21-£13.15 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
