Would you like to be a critical part of an engineering team building next-generation features to
improve health using sensing technologies?
The Health Incubation team builds outstanding technologies to support our users in living their
healthiest, happiest lives by providing them with objective, accurate, and timely information
about their health and well-being As part of the larger Sensor SW & Prototyping team, we take
a multimodal approach to health sensing, using a variety of sensors across HW platforms, such
as camera, PPG, inertial motion, temperature.
Description
In this role, you will be applying your in-depth knowledge of AI/ML, algorithms, data science,
statistical analysis, and human physiology to explore novel feature concepts and build
algorithms and ML models to support them. You will be working with other ML Scientists,
Data/Integrity Engineers, Health Studies, Hardware, Clinical, and Regulatory teams to define
specifications, develop instrumentation and experiments to analyze large datasets and assist
with ML development, and perform failure analysis.
Minimum Qualifications
Masters in BME/CS/CE/EECS/Math/Physics or equivalent experience
Experience with algorithms, statistical analysis, signal processing, and scientific reasoning
Experience creating algorithms pipelines and analyzing human signals data
Experiences designing and analyzing human research studies
Preferred Qualifications
Ph.D in BME/CS/CE/EECS/Math/Physics or equivalent experience
Experience with machine learning techniques and tools
Experience with large-scale data solutions with distributed data processing frameworks (e.g.
MapReduce, Spark)
Experience with failure analysis and root cause analysis techniques such as hypothesis
testing and experiment design
Experience in designing specifications, requirements and evaluation
Excellent communication skills, comfortable in a collaborative and innovative development
environment
