Job Title: Qualified Adults Social Worker - Mental Health Team
Location: East Sussex
Rate: Up to £38.00 per hour


An exciting job role has recently become available in East Sussex. They are looking for a new member for their Mental Health Team.

This is a close-knit team with extremely supportive and experienced managers, capped caseloads, and excellent learning and development opportunities.

What will your responsibilities be?

As a Mental Health Social Worker, you will conduct initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, develop and implement tailored treatment plans, provide individual, family, and group counseling, and coordinate with other healthcare professionals. You will also offer crisis intervention, advocate for clients, maintain accurate records, stay informed about advancements in mental health care, undertake social care assessments and reviews under the Care Act 2014, and manage a caseload of service users requiring complex case management.

Qualifications and Experiences:

To be considered for this role, you must have strong written and verbal communication skills, a minimum of 2 years of experience in relevant Mental Health teams, and experience working within Mental Health Care and Support Teams supporting adults with mental health needs. Additionally, you must be registered with Social Work England, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a full UK driving licence, and possess a degree level or equivalent qualification in social work.
