Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our team . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in all housekeeping operations and a passion for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will oversee the housekeeping staff, ensuring that all areas of the establishment are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.

Must have knowledge of rotas , coshh and able to create and maintain cleaning schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, including cleaning schedules and staff assignments.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to ensure adherence to company standards and procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections of gym , restaurant and golf , public areas, and back-of-house facilities to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Address guest inquiries and concerns regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
  • Implement and enforce health and safety regulations within the housekeeping department.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery for guests.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within hotel or hospitality housekeeping is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused approach.
