Portable Toilets Ltd is a well-established family run business, we are one of the largest toilet hire companies in the UK.

PTL are currently recruiting for a reliable, flexible can-do attitude driver to join our team at our Bridgend based depot.

For this position, apart from driving a 3.5ton commercial vehicle & possibly towing a trailer no experience is necessary as full training will be provided.

Drivers duties and responsibilities includes:

The main purpose of the role is to drive a 3.5 tonne vehicle with vacuum tank to service, empty, restock and clean portable toilets. The job will also include delivery, siting and collecting toilets across your assigned routed areas that we cover currently. These areas can be discussed at interview.

When you've finished your planned route, you will required to work in the yard cleaning and repairing toilets if needed.

Candidate must have the ability to work alone and as part of a team.

Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail is essential.

Drivers are responsible for checking vehicles daily and reporting any defects.

Candidate will require a good level of fitness and be able to complete manual handling duties: with the ability to move products which may require bending, stretching, stooping, stepping, reaching and lifting all in line with the Health & Safety regulations.

This role can be varied and will allow you to work and gain experience in many different areas of the company.

Requirements:

· A full driving licence (1 year preferred)

· A good level of fitness and be able to complete manual handling duties.

Working Days - Monday – Friday 7.30am - 5pm with weekend and bank holidays (overtime)

Full Time Hours - 45 hours per week - PERMANENT POSITION

Salary: £13 per hour

After 45hrs - Overtime Rate @ £15.00 per hour
