JOB TITLE: WMS Co-Ordinator

SITE LOCATION: Hortonwood- Telford

REPORTS TO: Team Manager

Job Purpose:

The WMS Co-Ordinator will be responsible for the processing of all WMS associated tasks to fulfil inventory replenishment, customer orders including picking & despatching.

WMS data inputting and maintenance must be completed accurately.

The key delivery aspect of the role is to ensure the WMS data inputting is completed on time to the required standard.

  • Adherence to all organisational policies, management systems and standard operational procedures, including legal responsibilities in relation to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality.
  • Work positively to develop and foster good working relationships with colleagues and contracted personnel to maintain a culture of mutual respect and dignity.
  • Represent the organisation in a positive way as to avoid the damage of corporate image or bringing the company into disrepute.
  • Promote and display the Epwin Core Values.
  • Ensure high levels of accuracy in all tasks.
  • Ensure adherence to agreed break times.
  • Set a professional and good example to all those on site.
  • Communicate information via the relevant communication channels.
  • Alert relevant people to process and product concerns.
  • Agree and complete training and development requirements as determined by the Manager and the training plan.
  • Safeguard property issued by the company.
  • Ensure workplace is clean and tidy – all housekeeping procedures are followed, and the workplace is safe.
  • Ensure new employees and agency staff are inducted appropriately and trained to the required standard.
  • Fault rectification and problem solving.
  • Transfer the knowledge and skills among the team.
  • Ensure filing and archiving is organised, accurate and up to date.
  • Provide appropriate cover for all administration roles.
  • Work closely and effectively within own site/department and other departments.
  • Undertake reasonable duties as and when required/as directed by a manager.

Key Experiences and Skills Required:

  • Good level of numeracy & literacy
  • Good level of PC skills including WMS systems and Microsoft office software
  • Strong communication skills - email, phone calls and face to face
  • Desirables Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required:
  • Previous WMS experience
  • Accredited excel certificate
  • Worked within a warehouse environment

Performance Measures

  • Attendance including absence & lateness
  • Errors and mistakes leading to customer order disruption or failure
  • Key performance indicators for the site, team and individually
