Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, highly organised, and results-driven Retail Store Manager with strong leadership, customer service, and operational skills, capable of successfully managing a children's wear store while upholding the elevated standards of our brand. Skilled in motivating teams to deliver refined, personalised service and maintaining a polished, luxury retail environment. Experienced in driving sales, managing inventory, implementing brand directives, and ensuring seamless daily operations. Committed to protecting brand integrity, enhancing customer loyalty, and achieving consistent commercial growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service
  • Supervise daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
  • Manage staff schedules, organise training sessions, and oversee team performance
  • Implement effective merchandising strategies to optimise product displays and maximise sales opportunities
  • Maintain high standards of visual presentation and store cleanliness
  • Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and courtesy using excellent phone etiquette
  • Analyse sales data and prepare reports to inform business decisions
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Manage inventory levels, stock replenishment, and minimise shrinkage through effective stock control measures
  • Collaborate with head office on promotional activities, new product launches, and marketing initiatives

Experience

  • Proven management experience within retail environments, with a focus on sales management and team supervision
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop staff members
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous
  • Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting
  • Previous experience in merchandising, administrative tasks, and utilisation of retail management software is preferred
  • Competence in time management to meet deadlines whilst maintaining attention to detail
  • Experience in supervising teams with diverse backgrounds is desirable; previous supervisory experience is essential
  • Knowledge of retail industry trends and customer service best practices
