Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Delivery Driver. This role is essential in ensuring that our products reach our customers safely and on time. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, a commitment to excellent customer service, and the ability to handle physical tasks associated with delivery.

Duties

  • Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to various locations.
  • Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling and securing of products during transit.
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is safe and roadworthy.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any issues encountered.
  • Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any changes.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
  • Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and heavy lifting tasks.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred.
  • Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record; experience driving commercial vehicles is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes is beneficial.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) as required during loading and unloading.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
