Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Tradesman to join our team working on void and occupied properties. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of skills in various trades, enabling them to undertake diverse tasks across multiple projects. This role requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality workmanship in all tasks undertaken.

Pay is based on SOR rates. A good understanding of this type of work and knowledge of the SOR rates would help.

Responsibilities

  • Perform painting and finishing work to enhance the aesthetic appeal of properties.
  • Execute plumbing tasks, including installation and maintenance of pipes and fixtures.
  • Undertake carpentry work, including framing, roofing, and installation of doors and windows.
  • Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for various construction tasks.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure project timelines are met efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Tradesman or in a similar role across multiple trades.
  • Plastering, plumbing, kitchen and bathroom fitting.
  • Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to construction and maintenance tasks.
  • knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing practices, carpentry techniques, masonry skills
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients.
  • A valid driver's licence.
