We're seeking a
PCB Quality Engineer
to join a leading North West manufacturer. You'll ensure all printed circuit boards and assemblies meet internal and customer quality standards, driving continuous improvement across processes and products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and audit PCBs (bare and assembled) to IPC standards (IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610).
  • Monitor quality metrics, yields, and defect trends; lead improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement CAPA actions.
  • Develop and maintain quality procedures for PCB fabrication and assembly.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and related standards.

Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years in PCB manufacturing, assembly, or electronics quality.
  • Strong knowledge of IPC standards and quality systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100).
  • Skilled in inspection, RCA, and statistical quality tools.
  • Experience with PCB design software (e.g., Altium) and reliability testing.
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and teamwork.
