Exciting Career Opportunity for a BDM or senior sales person to join our Telecoms client as a Sales Manager either specialising in Data Centre Infrastructure or Fibre & Connectivity.
We are seeking an accomplished Sales Manager for each area, with a strong entrepreneurial spirit to join a leading global digital transformation organisation, expanding rapidly in the UK. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to play a pivotal role in driving growth by breaking into the Data Centre Infrastructure or building upon their Fibre / Connectivity sectors.
- Use your considerable years' experience selling within either of these sectors, to lead and implement strategic sales initiatives across the UK. You should already have contacts and connections in these sectors either through channel partner sales, carrier sales, public sector or mid to large enterprises.
- This position is independent and does not involve managing direct reports at first. You will be fully accountable for achieving business sales targets and managing client relationships.
- You have strong technical engineering knowledge and detailed knowledge of estimating, PQQ completion, and bid management.
- You possess an understanding of the contractual requirements and negotiations.
- Build and nurture key client relationships.
- Monitor market trends and competitors to shape business strategy.
- Present regular sales updates and insights to stakeholders.
This is a hybrid role - they have offices in the midlands and northern England. They offer excellent benefits including 28 days holidays plus public holidays.
