The role: Effectively manage a portfolio of homes to provide an up-to-date view of quality and identify risks to Care UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To monitor and analyse information and data from the home to understand and mitigate emerging risk, escalating concerns as appropriate.
  • To undertake regulatory assessments in line with regulators
  • To support Care UK and operational colleagues with understanding of relevant legislation and regulations
  • To provide coaching to operational teams
  • To work with homes to achieve high standards of assessments, external inspections or complex safeguarding.
  • To undertake safeguarding and serious case review investigations as required by Head of Regulatory Governance.
  • To keep updated regarding developments in the Health and Social Care sector regarding regulation and compliance.
  • To lead on compliance and quality improvement activities required to ensure business objectives are met.
  • To conduct coaching and training to care home colleagues and wider Care UK as required.

What We're Looking For:

  • Detailed knowledge and application of relevant legislation and regulatory framework.
  • Experience of working in a senior regulatory or quality role.
  • Knowledge of the care sector in particular care home-based services.
  • Sound understanding of quality improvement & governance.
