Role Overview:

As a Full-Time Community Carer, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in their own homes. You will play a key role in helping clients achieve their daily goals and remain active members of the community. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Personal Care: Support clients with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Medication Management: Ensure clients take prescribed medications as directed.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks tailored to client needs.
  • Companionship: Offer emotional support and engage in activities that promote social well-being.
  • Domestic Support: Perform household tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
  • Mobility Assistance: Assist clients with moving around their home or attending community activities.
  • Transportation: Provide or arrange transport for medical appointments, social events, or errands (if required).
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns or changes in a client's condition.

What We're Looking For:

  • A kind, compassionate, and patient individual with a passion for helping others.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and their families.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to varying client needs.
  • Previous experience in a care role (preferred but not essential—training will be provided).
  • Flexibility to work full-time hours, including some evenings and weekends.
  • A full driving license and access to a reliable vehicle (essential).
