Experience of this type of work is an advantage.The Site Manager will be proactive and responsible for the maintenance and good working order of the school site and provide an appropriately safe, clean, attractive and secure environment for all.We are two popular schools with a team of staff who are totally committed to the children, their welfare, education and team working. Both school leaders require a committed Site Manager who will take pride in the school site by caring for it and love it as the children, parents, governors and staff already do.Duties will include: To be responsible for all aspects of site management, associated administrative functions and team leadership including a wide range of duties and responsibilities connected with the fabric and grounds of theResponsible for site security, cleanliness, porterage, commissioning & monitoring contracts/contractors, conducting routine maintenance and refurbishment, including minor Advising the School Administrators/Headteachers on improvements to the general school environment, to improve the productivity of site management.Carry out pre-planned maintenance programmes and risk assessments.Leadership responsibilities will include all site staff including cleaning team to ensure high quality of work, clear direction and support in line with H & S.Following all school, health & Safety and LA policies and procedures.Overseeing school lets and the work on community payback onsite through the probation service.Applicants must have experience of site management and line managing a team of people. Excellent IT, verbal and written literacy skills. They must also possess qualifications required for the safe management of a school site such as COSHH certificates & manual handling. Other areas include experience and knowledge of premises health and safety compliance, handyperson skills and where possible including carpentry, plumbing, electrical and decorating skills. Examples of this must be provided at interview.
